ETF Screener

This ETF Screen tool allows you to filter and sort the universe of Exchange Traded Funds down to a more manageable list based on performance measures as well as technical analysis indicators. The population this screener draws from is the same viewed elsewhere on this site and includes the iShares, HOLDRS, VIPERs, streetTRACKS, and PowerShares families along with the SPY, QQQQ, and other popular ETFs. As a benefit to the new user, recently run screens can be reviewed by clicking the Recent Screens link above.

Filter/Sort Criteria Instructions

Field Logic Value

To run a screen:

~  Enter Filter/Sort Criteria.  This is where you define the criteria you want to screen for.  Filters are defined by picking a field, a logic variable (=,>,<,>=,<=), and then a value. You can also specify a field as the value. Some examples:
  Close > 5
  Vol5 > Vol60
  DolVol21 > 1000 (> $1 million /day trading volume)
  EMA5 > EMA20
Name <> HOLDRS (Exclude HOLDRS funds)
Inverse = 0 (Exclude Inverse (short) funds)
Leveraged = 1 (Include ONLY Leveraged funds)

~  You have the option of including a Sort rule as your final rule. If used, the results of your screen will be sorted by whatever field you specify. To use the Sort function, select the desired field and then select either ASC or DESC in the logic column.

~  Select the results you want, either Historical Performance Data or Current Screen Picks. During market hours you can select Screen Picks based on either current data or prior closing data.

~  A maximum of 100 matching entries will be returned.
