Russell Style Funds

The Russell Indexes segment the market by both capitalizaion and value/growth. The ETF's on this page are designed and managed to track those indexes. The Russell 3000 index is generally referred to as a total market index because the 3000 stocks included represent approximately 98% of the total U.S. market capitalization. The other Russell ETF's are designed to track subsets of this index. The Russell 1000 funds track the 1000 largest companies in the 3000 index where the Russell 2000 funds track the 2000 smallest capitalization companies. The Mid-Cap funds track the performance of the 800 smallest companies in the Russell 1000 index. Each of these base funds is further divided into Growth and Value sub-sets based on price-to-book ratios and forcasted growth rates.
