This page supports our users that follow Les Masonson’s ETF investing strategy set forth in his new book Buy Don’t Hold. His six-step methodology is explained in detail. One of the key steps is to first determine the overall health of the stock market by using eight publicly available technical indicators that are referred to as "Stock Market Dashboard." Another critical step in Masonson’s strategy is to select investments from a universe of 74 ETFs, but only when the Dashboard indicates a “buy” signal. He categorizes these funds into 7 groups, all of which are available by clicking the links in the side column. He recommended a standard 6-month "relative strength" measure to determine their performance. Therefore, all of these data tables have a default sort of 6-month total return.
